Noirin Sheahan has been practising meditation under the guidance of Bhante Bodhidhamma for almost twenty years. Born in Dublin in 1954, she works part time as a medical physicist / engineer. Hoping to bring meditation more explicitly into this workplace, she is studying the application of insight meditation in healthcare at the University of Wales. She has taught vipassana under the guidance of Bhante Bodhidhamma at Gaia House, and with Denis Buckley at a number of centres in Ireland.



Marjó Oosterhoff started to practise vipassana meditation more than 20 years ago and has trained and practised in Western meditation centres as well as in Asian monasteries and nunneries. She ordained as a temporary nun on three occasions for the traditional rains retreats in a monastery in Burma. Her teachers, Ven. Mettavihari and Sayadaw U Janaka authorised her to guide retreats.

Marjó lives and works at Passaddhi, a small meditation retreat-centre outside Adrigole on the Beara Peninsula in the south-west of Ireland. She organises all retreats and teaches some of these. Please visit her website: www.passaddhi.com
